91She had cousins Lettie and Ted Walpole (brother and sister) who had a
wheat farm at Hamilton near Kapunda, SA. She also had a sister Augusta
(a "wag", said Stan) who lived in Adelaide. There was also a Walpole who
ran a hotel in South BH. She also had a sister (or cousin?) named "Bella "
(Sibella?). See Bunney notes.
Her daughter Lilly Gribbin, was born out of wedlock on 23 Jan 1883 in
Adelaide (ref. Ade district Book 296 page 264, father unnamed).
Oates is sometimes spelt Oats, but Oates is her official name on the
birth certificate.
