On 1st November Mr.C.W.Wiltshire of the Adelaide office staff, was made the recipient of a set of cutlery by the Branch Office, on the eve of his marriage. The best wishes of his fellow officers were conveyed by the Branch Manager, Mr. Grace.

On March 1 Swan Hill was selected as the centre of a new regional area to serve the north west and part of central north Victoria.
The new area extends along the Murray River areas from Cohuna to Mildura and south to Charlton and Donald. It also includes a sections of New South Wales just across the Murray from Mildura.
The new region was officially opened at a dinner held at the Royal Hotel, Swan Hill, on Wednesday March 20.
Mr J. V. Inglis, Manager for Victoria, accompanied by two Assistant Managers, Mr. C. W. Wiltshire and Mr. D. F. Walker, went from Melbourne to attend the official opening.
