17Arrived with her parents at Geelong Harbour in 1857.
The ship was the sailing vessel “Sir Charles Napier”, and as soon as it berthed, the entire crew deserted and went to the Ballaarat diggings. The passengers followed and James Larrett Jackson died there in 1894. His widow later married Henry John Wright and they settled at Glenpatrick near Elmhurst. When William Horden and Margaret Mary Anne were married the officiating clergyman was Rev. David Porteus.
